Her work with The El Paso Equal Voice Network and La Mujer Obrera works to create a sense of pride and self-worth in the young people they serve. Working in one of the poorest zip codes in America, engaging youth to know their culture, rights, and further their education is crucial to breaking the cycle of poverty.
