Scope & Content: Reel 1, Gen. C.G. Treat, Col. Wm. B. Wallace, and Ital. Gen. Garaldi detrain in Villafranca. The 332nd Inf. Reg't arrives, gets Red Cross refreshments, parades, occupies billets, and is reviewed by King Victor Emmanuel, Treat, Amb. Page, and Wallace. The Prince of Wales visits Reg't hdqrs. Reel 2, 332nd and Ital. troops practice with bombs and signal rockets. Officers watch a baseball game. Troops man trenches near Varago. Treat and Ital. officers visit trenches on the Piave front. Troops cross the Sile River and march through Treviso. Treat, Wallace, and Samuel Gompers inspect a camp. Gompers addresses the troops. Reel 3, machine gunners get rations from a rolling kitchen. Troops cross the Astico and Monticano Rivers; capture supplies and equipment; and occupy Codriope, Villaorba, and Fiume; Austro-Hungarians are brought to the rear. Shows Allied hq. aboard the Ferencz Ferdinand. Reel 4 shows defenses in Fiume, Austro-Hungarian warships, and the Ital. destroyer Acquilla. The Western Plains is unloaded by lighter. Troops march through Nieqush, Montenegro. Serbian soldiers dance. Soldiers feed Montenegrin children. Shows street scenes in Vienna.
