Arts inFocus: DeVia

Description

Arts InFocus went behind the scenes to explore the De'VIA exhibit at the Memorial Art Gallery of the University of Rochester back in February of 2020. "Deaf View / Image Art" is a fairly new genre of art coined by deaf historians and artists 30 years ago as a way to recognize artists exploring deaf culture and the deaf experience. You can get the exhibit tour, background and insider look at this movement in this Arts InFocus special feature.
