Making the Future - Ryan and Jacob
Description
Jacob and Ryan have pretty much "tag-teamed" through life since they were 10 years old: they joined the army after graduating from Middletown High, went through boot camp together, tried college and trade school, then finally wound up back in Connecticut working for AGR, The Arthur G. Russell Company in Bristol. Even though they were stationed in two very different units (Jacob was deployed three times as an Army Ranger and Ryan served stateside at Arlington National Cemetary), they've always had each others’ backs. Ryan was the one who helped get Jacob the job at AGR about a year after he himself was hired. The two twenty-somethings are in the company's Apprenticeship Program to become Tool & Die makers - a trade in desperate need of new blood. AGR Vice President Craig Churchill says the company has had great luck hiring veterans because they can think on their feet and always want to get additional training to help grow. Jacob and Ryan spend time together whenever they can. They enjoy shooting at the nearby rod and gun club and hanging out at the local diner.
