IN RENO, NEVADA, EIGHT COLOSSAL STATUES WERE ERECTED DOWNTOWN AS PART OF THE MONTH-LONG “ARTOWN” FESTIVAL. THESE HAND-PAINTED SCULPTURES, OTHERWISE KNOWN AS “SPIRIT ANIMALS,” COME FROM MEXICO CITY AND ARE FULL OF COLOR AND PATTERN.
