IN THE 1930S, POET LANGSTON HUGHES AND ARTIST ELMER W. BROWN WORKED TOGETHER ON A CHILDREN’S BOOK CALLED “THE SWEET AND SOUR ANIMAL BOOK.” A GROUP OF HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS CURATED AN EXHIBIT THAT SHINES A LIGHT ON THIS BOOK AND COLLABORATION.
