An original concept, an enticing plot, a compelling protagonist – what are the elements that make a book meaningful? Hosted by Meredith Vieira, this program explores the pillars of great writing by showcasing local voices and how the books of their lives have touched them in profound ways. The chapters of this program include character, plot, and style, and feature content from stations across the country.
This is the localizable version of this program; it is free of graphics, music, and text. Stations can easily incorporate voices from their communities with local, existing content, or by interviewing prominent local authors, librarians, book clubs, and readers of all ages.
