PBS PhD Science Level 5 Module 4 Lesson 2 Part 1

In Lesson 2 part 1, students read Look to the Stars by Buzz Aldrin (2009), which provides a historical perspective of humans exploring space, the Moon and beyond. Students develop an anchor model (SEP.2) to explain the apparent motion of astronomical objects in Earth’s sky from the perspective of space. This allows students to continue their exploration of the Phenomenon Question: How do we describe our view of the Sun, the Moon, and stars in Earth’s sky?
