Together for Better
Description
Camp HLC is a three-day, overnight retreat for children and young adults, ages 6-21, who have
or have had a loved one battling ALS. In this short film, the children step into a “confession
booth” and speak the truth of their experience directly to the camera. Each kid has their own
story, but they are stronger together, and HLC (which stands for Hope Loves Company) is the
place where this community can thrive and care for each other.
