Description
Pausing elective surgeries around the country during coronavirus lockdowns left some patients at risk for worsening disease. Many hospitals are now resuming such procedures and are taking precautions to ensure that operating rooms are clean and to limit the possibility of contamination. Medical emergencies at home should not be ignored because of the fear of contracting coronavirus at the hospital.
