Breaking with 1520 Arts
Description
Toprock is an essential element of breakdancing, allowing a dancer to show personal style through standing footwork that develops coordination and rhythm. In this five-minute segment, Precious and assistants will introduce children to basic Toprock moves. 1520 Arts dancers will share a bit of history on the origin of the moves as well as show how breakers improvise combinations to express their own personalities and work with music they love.
