Description
Kang Guot is making Buffalo home. Born in southern Sudan, he escaped his country’s civil war fleeing to Ethiopia. Kang is one of the estimated 20,000 boys known as the Lost Boys of Sudan. They walked more than a thousand miles, half of them dying before reaching Kakuma refugee camp in Kenya. In 2004 he came to the United States seeking peace, freedom, and education.
