Feel Like I'm Back Home

Description

Raised beadwork has been a hallmark of Tuscarora culture since the Erie Canal opened in 1825. Grant Jonathan is both a master of the craft and one of its historians, collecting Tuscarora beadwork from around the world. On a visit to the New York State Museum, he wanders through the archives to identify the origin of several beaded items in its Native American art collection.
