Description
Helen Peters served as an Army Nurse and deployed to Vietnam in 1968. Most of her time in Vietnam was spent at the 12th Evacuation Hospital where she treated wounded service members. She describes her time in Vietnam and explains why she chose to tell her story. Vietnam Echoes is produced by Alaska Public Media on the occasion of The Vietnam War, a film by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick premiering on PBS in September 2017.
