Black Economic Alliance Presidential Forum

Description

Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), South Bend Indiana Mayor Pete Buttigieg, former Texas Congressman Beto O'Rourke and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren participate in the Black Economic Alliance Presidential Forum, moderated by Soledad O'Brien. The forum highlighted the candidates stances on how they would fix problems affecting the black community including access to credit, shrinking the wealth inequity gap, eradicating discrimination and dealing with gentrification--among other issues.
Inside the venue, the diverse crowd applauded the loudest and most often for Sen. Warren--who has recently been enjoying a bump in early voting state polls including South Carolina. Sen. Booker also received a warm reception from the crowd.
