Congressional leaders announced they have reached a Bipartisan agreement on unprecedented emergency legislation to rush sweeping aid to businesses, workers and a healthcare system.

This 2 trillion dollar stimulus package is the largest economic rescue measure in history.

The package would give direct payments to most americans, expand unemployment benefits and provide a $367 billion program for small businesses to keep making payroll while workers are forced to stay home.

About $500 billion goes to loans for larger industries, including the airlines. hospitals get significant help as well.

Both houses of congress must vote on the measure.
