Wild Wetlands

WNET

Description

You may call it a swamp, but marshes and wetlands are one of the most important ecosystems in the world! They filter the fresh water we drink and provide important habitats for birds, fish, and many other wildlife. Metzger’s Marsh in Ohio was once one of the largest wetlands on the Great Lakes, which are the world’s largest freshwater reserve and provide drinking water to 35 million people. Climb aboard a shallow boat and see the many creatures who call the marsh home.
